My hemoglobin level was low. I always took one tablet daily, especially during my menstrual period. It is also advisable to drink more water after intake of the tablet. After a few months taking this Sangobion tablet, I went back to the doctor and did blood test. My hemoglobin level has improved and increase back to the normal range.

    1. Dear Stella,

Yes the patient will be able to consume this supplement. However, I would advise for the patient to monitor accordingly after starting:

Diabetic – To monitor fasting and random blood glucose
High blood pressure – To monitor blood pressure at least once a day
Asthma – To notice if there are any exacerbations

If there happen to be any reactions or undesirable effects, I would strongly advise to stop taking it and seek assistance from your nearest health care provider.

      1. I have anemia, do i have to take SANGOBION daily? Until when? Do i stop when achieve normal iron level or still continue? Is it safe for daily supplement forever?

    1. Dear MJ,

This is a good question! There shouldn’t be any issues if you take both sangobion and warfarin. However, do have a check with your doctor before you start not just on Sangobion, but all other medications and supplements as well.

  1. Can this be taken if I have suspected stomach ulcer because sometimes I feel gnawing or burning pain when hungry

    1. Hi Christina!

Yes you may, however, it also depends on what you mean by other multivitamins. Most importantly is to ensure that the vitamins and minerals you take are within the recommended dose.

  2. Yap Nyin Sheng

    Hi,
My doctor prescribe FolicAcid, Vitamin B Complex, Ascobic Acid, Pyridoxine HCI to prevent Red Blood cell drop. Can I mix with Sangobion or I need to stop any of them?

    1. Hi Yap,

It depends on the quantity in which your doctor prescribed for each of these ingredients. Sangobion contains these ingredients but the quantity might differ from your prescription.

  3. I am currently having iron deficiency anaemia on maltofer 100mg daily but the result is not so good. I wonder if sangobion can be a better substitute…please advise

    1. Hi Li Ping,

Yes, you may consider trying Sangobion as it contains more ingredients such as folic acid, whereas maltofer only contains iron complex.
